Hi all,

My bike hut handlebar bag doesn't fit on my new bike, due to its oversized handlebars (and there isn't an alternative mount), and a newly fitted child seat means I can't use my rack. I took my son to nursery on the bike for the first time this morning, and had to carry all his stuff on my back in a backpack, which was in his face for this whole journey.

So I'm looking for a recommendation for an alternative, please, which is able to fit over-sized handlebars (bike is a Trek 7.4fx wsd). Alternatively, is it worth considering a front rack?

Thanks in advance

Klickfix bar bags have fittings for OS bars as do Topeak. Not sure what sort of volume you need but you can filter by brand here

I can recommend any of the Klickfix stuff. I had to have one of their baskets ( don't laugh) after a back injury meant i couldn't use a rucksack for a while. I don't use the basket but the fixing fits most of their other products including the handlebar bag which i use on my tourer.

Thanks guys. I hadn't thought of a basket, but actually that might be the best solution for this so I can put his usual rucksack in. Providing I can take it off before I see any of my cycling friends :-)
