Handlebar adjustment (flats)

I f you are looking to gain performance you could try flipping your existing stem to get a more aerodynamic position.

Am I right in thinking that handlebar height is pretty much a done deal? I don't really have the funds to go get a professional fit and I think I'm pretty close to perfect, so was just making sure that I'd addressed all variables.

I'd not even thought of flipping over the stem. I'm very tall so my saddle height is high compared to the handlebar as it is.

You can vary it a little bit move spacers from the bottom of the stem to the top or visa versa and or flip the stem to change the position but if it ain't broke don't fix it :thumbsup:

I think I'll play a little bit more with seat fore/aft and see the impact of clipless riding. I'm sure that a great deal of my fidgetty nature will go once my feet are stable.

As in my other thread about comfort I might be lucky and get a free fit/adjust from my LBS. depends how Christmassy they're feeling!
