Can some one recommend to me a decent handle bar bag. Because I am in need of one and what do you do with the front light that is mounted on the handle bars. Is there one that I can attach a light to. As I will using my bike to get to and from work in dark conditions.

I use an Altura Orkney Bar Bag 7ltr for longer excursions (its the dreaded Audax thing) but not for commuting with. There is a 'T' piece provided with the bag that allows lights to be hung below the bag but I cannot comment on how effective this arrangement is.
Use a pannier and rank combination on the commuter so the handle bars can accommodate lights (4 of them). Having a very rural commute I like to be able to adjust my lights as I'm riding and a bar bag would prevent me from doing this.

There are T shaped attachments you can put on your handlebars that will raise your light bove the level of a bar bag. As for my choice of bar bags, I have three - Ortlieb, Carradice and Gilles Berthoud. They are all great but in their own ways. The Ortlieb is 7 litres and competely waterproof; the Carradice is smaller, lighter and highly water resistance - my favourite for touring. The Gilles Berthoud is a lovely bag, expensive, and at 12litres big enough to use just on its wn for short B&B tours. It requires a front rack though to support it. Horses for courses.

It's a bit more complicated than that...
I think you're Baching up the wrong tree. You may think that a handle-bar bag is the Messiah, but ACS is right - it'll cause Fireworks with your steering. Use a pannier or a saddlebag instead. That will solve the light problem too.

That is nonsense. I have ridden and toured many, many thousand of miles with bar bags without the least bit of trouble with the steering.
So have I. A barbag unquestionably affects the bike's handling in ways that a rackpack, saddlebag or pannier doesn't.

Unless its fixed Brompton style to the head tube.

If you are going for a Handel bar though stay away from his Water Music, especially today ;)
