Saw an interesting post from one of our local councillors about Hampton Court Bridge (link below - couldn't get a direct link to the post but it's near the top)

There are plans to install permanent lips and bollards as anti-terrorism measures on Hampton Court Bridge. The comments run the gamut of "the cycle lane is going to be significantly reduced" to "bikes shouldn't be on the pavement" (natch).
The existing "cycle path" consists of a very subtle engraved stone with a bike on it and some differently patterned stones that act as a "line" (and which are routinely ignored by non-cyclists). People already moan about the changes from Hampton Court Bridge roundabout to Bushy park with regular insanity about how the floating bus stop is dangerous / delays traffic etc.
