Anyone got or used something like this? Basically all I currently have is a rucksack and after some riding I begin to sweat with it, I would perfer a bike-based option to store items. Not looking for anything big but perhaps my coat or an A4 book? ... some tools.

I am looking for the cheapest possible way, I see rear ones but the racks are £20 alone. £15 seems reasonable and it can be detacthed.

Also how do these mount? I have some stuff on my handle bars (sat nav, lights, bell, gears)

If you are on a tight budget, get a cheap rear rack off ebay (providing you can fit one to your bike) & cheap panniers from Tesco (last time i looked they were £10) or wait for the bike stuff at Lidl / Aldi

How do I know if my bike will accept a rack? It's a MTB. GT Avalance 3.0 to be precise.

When do Aldi and Lidi get bike stuff in? I remember a while back Aldi had mad offers on bike stuff, I wanted to pick up a helmet for £8, looked good but it all had ended.

A4 and tools and a regular coat is a lot of space, sounds like a proper pannier to me

cheap panniers are for making sure you really apprecaite an Ortleib later on

i got ortliebs for xmas, very happy with them. although lucky for me i could afford them. i'd have gone for the altura drylines otherwise, or maybe another pair i saw, i think theyre on wiggle or cycle express, cant remember the name but waterproof and looked ok
