Halfords C2W Scheme.

Ok, I want to get myself a CX bike with an Alfine hub. The favourite at the minute is the Genesis Day 1, however I have 2 issues - firstly it's £1,100 and Halfords are strict on their limit, and secondly, I know I can use the voucher at other places, however because it is administered through Halfords there is no flexability in the £1,000 limit.
First question, is there anyone who has found away round this, secondly can anyone think of an Alfine hubbed CX bike that i can get for £1,000.

Open to other ideas too....!!!

There should be a general C2W helpline phone number you can call - mine is 0845 0778 850 - and there is a nice man from Halfords on that number, he will be able to point you in the direction of LBSs in your area that accept the Halfords C2W voucher.

It seems a better deal than when I did it 2 years ago as instead of sourcing for RRP from the manufacturer you can get the bike at the price the LBS is paying.

Of course you may know all that and just need the help on finding the bike, unfortunately a £1k 'CX Bike with Alpine Hub' is a little above my grade (I'm looking at sub £500 hybrids!) so I cant help there sorry.
