well where do i start ,,,done my first cc meet ride yest ,,35 ml or so ,,and it was a scorcher
im a bit sunburnt ,,anyway it was a fair distance (for me ) ,it was the longest ride iv done (well i think iv done longer but it was over a day so this one was continous (apart from the cake stop) so this takes it started out in dunblane ,,went through a load of wee villages and ended up in kippen .(and then back to dunblane),and by god i was goosed ,,had to walk a few times as my legs were totally shot and i dropped off a few times ,,but each time some kind person backtracked and made sure i was ok (i was ..just knackered )
a really good bunch and special thanks to jimbr who shadowed me a few times and generally encouraged me ,,gave me a water bottle and gen helped me out (this also applies to all the group ,,they seemed to want us to stick together with nobody getting dropped ,,er,,,that would be me then
lolthere was a member on an mtb and tbh we were about the same pace so he done really well (either that or i was really bad
hahahahbut overall id say the pace was fine ,,some of the climbs were hard (i bet most flew up )i just ground away (had to stop a few times as i said
so whens the next one ,,,highly reccomended ,,was good to ride as a group (well you know
)and get a few pointers from more experienced types ,,weve all got to start somewhere ,,so if theres any lurkers on here that want to go for a group meet just bit the bullet and do it ,,i did ,,and it worked out fine (my legs are shot but its all good
