Haarlem Hotel Recommendations

So, I have the ferry booked from Newcastle to Ijmuiden next March and a couple of nights stay in the tulip fields near to Keukenhof with a view to cycling those and down to Leiden and possibly The Hague.

However, I am struggling to find a hotel in Haarlem with secure bike storage without it costing a bomb. Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations? That will be our last stop before the ride to the ferry back to the UK.

I always go for the Van der Valk chain. They're mid-range costs wise, although often not in the most picturesque locations (typically right next to motorways).

The one in Haarlem seems to be about a mile from the city center and its website says it has covered and locked bike parking accessible only with room pass.
