He’s had a bad crash in training. Not much info yet, doesn’t seem to be life threatening. But being in intensive care doesn’t sound great!

Bad timing for Niki (not that there's a good time to crash). Out of contract at the end of the season - I guess he'd have been hoping to show some good form in the "spring" classics races.

Leaves hospital today. Expected three months recovery so might squeak the end of the delayed season.
