I have just bought my son a 2nd hand GT Aggressor 3 which has a sticky suspension fork.

Before I take it to pieces I would like to know what I might find and whether I can get it back together without special tools.

There are no labels on the fork but the letters "TGS" are cast in to the legs. I didn/t get anwhere searching on t'internet - can anyone here help me identify the fork and maker and where I might find a manual ?

P.S. Not sure of the age of the bike, but it has an alloy finish frame with red and white decals and a Suntour chainset.

They look like RST forks, but they could be anything. before you start stripping them down, try a good dribble of oil on the stanchions

They are apparently from the well known "Top Gun Suspension" company of Taiwan and are pants. Have got them moving again after a thorough clean, but will be looking to upgrade for him.

I've got a GT aggressor and the forks are pants. After a few months they seized up and barely worked. I've tried a to get them working but had no joy. Decided to get a rigid fitted as i only use it on roads and towpaths.
