Well done and welcome to the world of grown-ups. Same world as not grown-ups but goes quicker!

Well done  the next step is getting the bottle out of the cage while still moving you will look uber grown up then :becool:
Not that there's anything wrong with stopping to have a drink. I usually stop when I want a drink, often at the top of a hill, and feeling I've earned it as I take in the view and anticipate my descent. I don't race and I rarely ride to a deadline.

Congratulations Steph! :bravo:
Little cycling achievements make one feel all chuffed, don't they, especially when one starts cycling later in life.
Some time ago a bus driver gave me the thumbs up because I'd let him pull out, staying behind in his field of vision as learned from Cycle Chat, made me grin all the way to work.
There's no stopping you now, you'll be on Strava next ^_^

Isn't this cycling lark just a big buzz? Being a 'lady of a certain age' I was expecting to be so rubbish at being on my bike but I just LOVE it

So true: 18 months ago I never knew bikes had inner tubes (figured it was all a BIG tyre, ha ha!) now I set out on a 50 miler without a second thought, donning lycra, pink trainers and "cat" Tee shirts.
Growing old gracefully? Not yet!

Me too. No gracefulness here! I go out in Lycra, PINK, and I mean really PINK top, shorts, grey and pink shoes and my socks usually have pink on too. AND I've got a pink helmet

Only one step from a purple hat, (shhhhhh, I wear purple A LOT in my job)
