Greipel v Cavendish

In the build up to the ToB highlights tonight they interviewed Greipel, I never heard the whole thing but it sounds like he getting fustrated playing 2nd fiddle to Cav in HTC and is on the lookout for a new team, he particularly wants to race in the TdF. If the likely happens and he does move, who do you think would win out of the sprint, Greipel or Cavendish?

He (Greipel) has been moaning all year about playing second fiddle to Cav. He needs to MTFU if you ask me, and ship out and admit he'd get his arse kicked repeatedly by Cav in any sprint. He'd be left trailing by miles.

Is there anybody in Omega Pharma Lotto to give him a good lead out? I can't remember there being good team around Evans when he was in Silence Lotto. If Greipel had a good team he might of pulled off the ocaisional upset but without a good team I think he's got no chance and on a straight head to head I think Cavendish would have it.

Ned Boulting writes a column in the telegraph (I think). He mentions the interview with Greipel and Greipel said that with Cav in the same team it's "mission impossible" for him to get a fair crack. It also says that OML are looking to build sprint train to rival HTC.

Personally, I'd put my money on Cav every single time (but with the condition that he doesn't move teams!).

Nobody can beat Cav when Cav is on form...that includes the world's top sprinters so why 2nd rate Greipel thinks he could I have no idea!
