Hi, When I first got my new CAAD 8 a few months back I noticed that the grease used on its vital parts was bright luminous green! Even better there was a big spilt dollop of the stuff in the box that I scraped up and popped in a small container. The stuff is fantastic, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. It’s great cos its green, really thick and you can see where you are using it. The closest I came to maybe finding something is....

Searching for green grease leads me to only environmental stuff !ha....any ideas or tips. I don't want white !!

Like this font color

Cheers guys

i think i know the stuff you mean. my uncle had a really old old tin in the garage i saw once. had a chequered (F1 STYLE) flag on the tin ad i think was made by Castrol... try hunting motor factors, this was a long time ago

Couldn't resist a spot of Googling myself and turned up this... not sure if it is the right stuff or not, but it is green

That looks like good stuff. Cannondale reckon they use Shimano Workshop Dura-Ace (They replied about an hour after I used the contact us page). That Green Grease stuff, developed for mining and marine  you'l not beat that. But can it withstand the Manchester rain! It looks good, might give it a try! Cheers
