Grass

Whilst out this afternoon I saw someone cutting their grass. A bit early for getting the lawnmower out I thought.

My grass is white... Or maybe it's covered. There's currently a 15/16 foot snow drift out the back of my house and it's rising up the back window. Soon, I'm going to be able to snow-shoe up on to my roof and toboggan down it!

Chickens are very good at stripping away grass altogether. I am having to move mine to another area because there is no grass left at all

Last year I had to re-seed the back, looks like I will be doing the same this year. Totally worth it for the eggs, especially on bacon butty`s.

We set the mower high and use it to pick up leaves etc. On the lawn.

I cut my hedge back today, it had started to sprout and needed doing when there was no rain about. The fuschia in the front garden still had leaves on it. It too had started to sprout so it got a haircut too.
I gravelled over all my grass last year....I hate cutting grass and by getting rid of the mower I had room in the garage for a Mtb.
Win/win

Pah, lightweights, I did the first cut in January. (Of course it was dryish then - I think if I tried it now the mower would sink).
