GPS Export/Convert

Lots of my friends use a Garmin and the Garmin Connect website, associated GPX files etc.

I have a Bryton so I can save the route from the Garmin website but only save it on my Garmin page - is there a way to download this off my online account onto the PC (as a TCX) and then upload to my Bryton.

Basically can you export data from Garmin Connect - even into another programme like Map My Ride where I can save as another file type.

As long as the route is publicly accessible you can use the converter on the below website. You can tell it the URL and it will convert to a file format of your choosing that can be copied onto your Garmin.

Otherwise tell people to use a different site to map their rides like www.bikeroutetoaser.com as its far better and also free and from here you can download a GPX or TCX file.
