Im looking for a Gps computer that has a route guide on it.
Id be happy enough with a breadcrumb type jobby so long as you could pre plan routes etc.
I dont want to spend the earth but know they cost what they cost.
Any recomendations?!?

Some people will swear blind Iphones are the only phone worth having or that hotpoint is the only washer to have! just wondering whats out there really

Can I ask what kind of cycling it will be used for?

For example I use an Garmin Etrex Vista HCx for when taking part in Audax events and an Memory-Map Adventurer 3500 for off road. Each has its own advantages and limitatons.

Im looking for something that will save data and give me some info to look at.im road riding only. i use endomondo in a pocket at the moment for logging and have a cheap halfords wired comp on the bike so maybe something that combines the two somewhere?!? battery life on the phone is a struggle at anything 3 hours plus.
Im not desperate for hr and cadence but if its something i could add at a later date if wanted or theres something cheap then that might be a bonus.
Im looking to join my local club so im guessing mapping or routes arnt going to be too vital for that but id like to maybe plan a rouet to places for when im out on my own.
Not sure if that info helps any?!?
Cheers in advance

Garmin Edge 200. I've been using one for a while and think it's brilliant.

Personally I have no need for HRM and cadence, (had them before and the novelty soon wore off), so the Edge 500 was pointless extra expense for me.

TBH though I got mine last year when Garmin were doing £30 cashback, so it was only £80 brand new.

In between here and there
I just bought a Garmin 800 (new 810 is released recently) for £231 from Handtec. It really is a great bit of kit if you budget is up to £200 it would be worth the extra £31. Didn't come with maps but you can either use open source or buy one. I already had Euro maps so didn't both me.

You could look around for a Garmin Edge 305. Has HR and cadence if you wanted. There might be some knocking around and affordable, either refurbished or 2nd hand, on ebay and the likes.

In back pocket, the worst I've got is 9 hours. Current smartphone averages 10 to 12.
Not sure what you are doing to only get 3.
