Try to buy something, if they won't take a UK registered credit card, it's a scam

Why do people take such risks to save a few quid?

Have you read the nonsense written on their website under delivery and return

Why wouldn't they take the card? @vick (not really clued up with these things) I would have thought they wouldn't be to fussy about stealing anyone's money anyhow!

Your talking a £6.5K + bike for a shade over £2k. For me that's not a few quid but I appreciate I may be for some.

Because they are scammers! Often they say oh we can't take a credit card or PayPal, only bank transfer, totally unprotected and untraceable. Get scammed on a credit card, the CC company can retrieve the funds which kind of defeats the object of the theft

Google the company, lots of hits on cycle shop scams out of Indonesia, this is almost certainly a simple reincarnation of an old scam by the same bastards

It's not a 6.5k bike, it's a theft of £2k which you will never ever see again. They make it cheap enough to lure people in but not so cheap that it's implausible. This happens all the time, bikes, av equipment etc

There is NO bike, never was, never will be

I've seen that Indonesia is a hotbed for scammers but couldn't find anything directly involving this bunch.

Like you I'm in no doubt that it is a scam though.

I see where your coming from with the cc thing. They probably try luring people in to a bank transfer so that they run free with the cash.

Probably because they are new or an old gang with a new name, and no one has been scammed yet or realised they've been scammed...or are too embarrassed or pissed off to post on the Internet

Unfortunately, these scams appeal to people's naivety or dare I say greed. a genuine supplier can't get a genuine product from a manufacturer and sell for a third of the price. They would get blacklisted by the manufacturer or go out of business making a huge loss. Of course they may be selling fakes, but my money would be on plain old simple theft

Where is your faith in human kind??
They are probably very nice Indonesian gentlemen who are trying to do a favour for their fellow man.

I've just had a look at their site, all the blingiest brands at ridiculous prices.
I guess people must fall for it otherwise they wouldn't bother putting the sites up :stop:

Order from them and let us know how you get on as a service to fellow CCers ;)

Well this proves you wrong.
As per your suggestion I have just ordered a 3rd bike from them. Not too expensive @ £2,500.00. My nice Indonesian contact was very pleasant and assured me that my new Giant Defy 7 would be with me next week. He was so grateful when I gave him my bank and credit card details.
It just proves that you should never judge people too early

You are surely joking?

This train of thought is why people actually get scammed. Where do you think this Company gets £6.5k from that they can sell for £2k and make a profit?

I think there is a better chance of losing your money than getting a bike. I wouldnt go for it and I doubt if you will either.
