Yes I can, Yes I am, Yes I did...Repeat.
One of the nuts..bolts whatever...that fixes the stem to the steer sheered off when I was flipping the stem and tightened it too hard mos tlikely...it has left part of the screw in the hole...Tried most things I can think of to get it out...so before I fork out for another stem I thought I'd ask if anyone on here has any useful ideas on how to remove the thing?? Doesnt respond to pliers, teeth etc.

Drill a hole through the bolt, then tap a thread then screw in a bolt from the broken end and it should unscrew the broken bolt. (Tap and die sets are available very cheaply. OK for occasional use). You could try screw extractors but I have rarely been successful with these. Is it possible to remove the part with the stuck bolt. An engineering factory would soon have it out for you, probably just for a drink.

If you were local I could have drilled and extracted it for you.

Drilling and tapping can work, as described above, but both the tapping and screwing will continue to drive the remains of the bolt further into the hole. If it is in a through hole then it can be wound right through, if not then you will need to extract it anticlockwise with an extractor.

If there is anything of the bolt to grab onto at all, a set of mole-grips may do the job- The mole-grips I have in work are one of my top-10 tools for getting out stripped screws/knackered bolts etc etc..

I used a left hand threaded tap on mine
As I made the thread, it started to undo the bolt, as you have to turn the tap anti-clockwise to tap
