Much excitement on the Island as new Charge Plug prestige on way for end of this month dirol.gif . Have decided to go fixed for training and commuting, despite not being a Hoxton based 20 year old messenger. Slightly nervous but looking forward to trying it out on some of our longer hills. Have wimped out a bit and chosen two brakes.

Has a flip flop hub but may take freewheel off and pop a hill climbing cog on it. Am planning to climb Mont Ventoux next year, may use gears for that!!

Next post may be from hospital if I forget to keep pedalling!!!!

I've forgotten to keep pedaling a few times but it's never thrown me off (yet). I think I'm getting there - I even keep pedaling when I fart now.

Good luck on the Island - plenty of hills there!

Your bike will soon remind you to! The hardest part can be getting your feet back on if you get them flicked off during a seriously forgetful moment, especially at speed, when the pedals fly round at a surprising speed. I would very much recommend going clipless or getting toe straps to keep your feet where they should be.

I love my Plug, I hope you love yours too. Good luck!
