Oooh, bit early, not certain yet. I'd like to do a sub 23 minute 10, didn't manage it this season. More cyclocross, but no specific goals- just regular racing and getting better at that.
As for me, next year I turn 50. (Cue, cries of "Really? You don't look it!" - I wish!) So in order to celebrate/deny* this anniversary I am planning a few challenges:
25 mile TT at as close to 1 hour 15 minutes as I can manage
50 mile TT in any time that I can manage
All three days of the Tour of Wessex
All three ways up Mont Ventoux in one day (still thinking about that one!)
Do the Tour of Flanders 140km sportive in a personal best time
Climb Bealach na bha in a personal best time
And maybe one or two others that I think of along the way - although the list makes me exhausted just looking at it!
Do the London Duathlon again.
Do the London Triathlon.
Join some cycling club runs and learn to ride in a group.
Enter a 10mile TT.
Do a proper cycling race.
Join in my rowing club's annual cycling trip to the Alps.
Complete my first (non-stop) century (metric, 100km, then maybe imperial)
I'd also like to do a bike race, I mean one with other riders rather than just a TT and I would REALLY REALLY LOVE to do some track riding. Does any body here ever go to Herne Hill? Maybe I could tag along some day....?
