The older I get, the faster I used to be ...
Anyone used Lezyne glueless patches? How do they compare with Park Tool - which I have always found very good?

There is only one, Park, why go for second best

As with all lezyne products, the are first class, as are park.
Use whichever is the best price.
I choose lezyne because I have tons of freebies from them, but i wouldn't use them if they where poor quality.

I've not really given this much though.

I carry, and use, Skabs.

They seem to work quite well but I'm open to suggestions if there's any tangible difference between brands.

I must abmit though that I usually just change the tube during the ride. The patches are just in case I get a second punture on the same ride.

The intention is always to repair the removed tube at home but I generally just end up throwing it away.

Probably just me (I seem to have developed OCD with by bikes) but I never have a lot of faith in repaired tubes.

I've got some Skabs in my on-bike kit but not had to use them yet. How long will they last? I've had them over a year now.

I'm not saying the fairy hasn't visited but I always swap tube and fix with normal patches when I get home. Last deflation, I tried to fix the tube but found as well as 3 piercings the rubber was starting to split in places. Skabs are in my seat pouch for those times I get a 2nd err, whatsit, thingy that I don't want to mention.

I've now got Marathons and Land Cruisers on now so they will get even less use :becool:.

do you mean an elastomeric pressurised atmosphere retaining device malfunction?

Think I will carry on using the Park Tool patches for now - useful feedback - thanks.

Park tool patches are the business.

I went MTBing in Spain, the tubes in their bikes had loads of patches, like the guide said, they don't puncture in the same place twice !:pump:

Don't throw them away, you can use an old tube for all sorts of things, like ........er, like wrapping around a chainstay to prevent damage, and erm.......
