Saw this pic recently. A cycle path near me, in Northampton, has illuminated blue cats eyes, but nothing as radical as this idea
This glow in the dark bicycle path can be found near Lidzbark Warminski in the north of Poland. It's made from a synthetic material that is charged by the sun, and it can hold up to ten hours of light. The impressive strip is powered entirely by the sun. It's still in the testing phases.
With all that light pollution - and in the OP's pic as well, it's a wonder it's thought necessary! Call me old fashioned but what's wrong with just some decent lights, a bit of proper dark and chance to enjoy what few stars that are still visible with all that $hite going on?!
