Gloves for long rides

Can anyone recommend a decent pair of gloves/mitts to be used for long days in the saddle and for tours?
I have a bog standard pair at the moment which do the job for short journeys no problem, but I've a week long charity ride coming up in summer and I think I'll need something with better overall padding. Any ideas?

I use the Endura gloves and mitts, feel nice to me done a few 60 mile rides no probs.

Spesh Body Geometry Mitts/Gloves do the best padding out of the pairs I've got.

I have Endura full finger gloves which are cosy down to about minus 3 degrees from plus 5 degrees I am happy with Endura fingerless gloves. Longest ride is about 130 no problems with either.

Personally, it's Altura Night Vision for me. They have a fleece lined, waterproof outer and a separate inner glove - the combination effectively gives you three pairs of gloves in one. The padding is pretty good too.

I suffer from finger tip numbness in cold weather and find that `Bicycle Line` Full Finger Gloves are both wind and waterproof...wouldn`t be with out them now. Back from a -2 degree spin the other day and warm as toast.

Pearl Izumi pro lobsters for me. Nicely padded with a lobster twin 2 finger wind proof membrane or when you start off/if it's cold.

I have mad good circulation so just don't get cold tho. I have some night vision but can't wear the waterproof gloves for any more than 2 miles or I soak them from the inside out! The liner inner gloves are great for stuffing in the izumi's if it drops to freezing tho

Cheers fellas. I wasn't after the winter or full fingered glove but the mitt type. I ordered a pair of Specialized BG Gel mitts and they arrived today from Cyclestore. They look and feel the business. I'll try them weekend

I recently got a pair of Sidi RC-2 Summer Cycling Gloves. Quality and fit feel great. Just can't tell you how they are on the road as it's not been the weather.
