Gladiators, Are you ready ?

I haven't watched this in years, and haven't seen the new series, but watched it because they had a load of the original Gladiators competing against the new ones.

Some theatricals from the guy who played Wolf and his new replacement, but very entertaining as there were some massive egos to massage

100,000 people tried out for the original series in the 8 years it was running from 1992 till 2000

Anyone here own up to this ?

I've got tickets for the family to the filming of the new rebooted Gladiators in Sheffield! Unreasonably excited about it!

I just looked up some of the new Gladiators and they include ex Team GB athletes and rugby players, I wouldn't like to compete against them!

Nightshade and Shadow were a bit on the nose when you look back on it with the benefit of hindsight.

Jet was from round my way. Used to come into the restaurant where my mate worked as a bus boy when we were teenagers. Which was nice.

As it's been going 14 years I suspect they have, although I find a sense of irony in you getting upset about 'The Dark Destroyer' when the previous sentence was 'The Black guy is called'
