Giro admit rotational injuries are a problem?

There is some dispute over helmets and rotational injuries, and I have previously posted the MIPS system as an option to reduce this

Now Giro have adopted the MIPS system and promoting it on the grounds that it will reduce rotational forces and rotational injuries

The goal of Giro’s MIPS-equipped helmets is to reduce rotational forces. Giro believes that helmets equipped with this technology can reduce the amount of rotational force that may be transferred to rider’s brain in certain impacts.
