Lost it, got it again.
Been look at some s/h bikes lately, just looking you understand.... ;)

I've read on-line that the Giant OCR "medium" is 50cm and that should be Ok for someone of my height (5'8"). Is that right? Just want to check before I bother to drive and check one out.

It seems small to me but then again I've never had a giant it depends how they measure it and the geometry (some body more qualified will hopefully comment). I'm 5'9&1/4 and my sirrus is an 'effective 54cm' but if you were to measure it a more traditional way its only 43cm (from BB to Centre of Top Tube) and it their medium and fits perfectly.

The Giant OCR is a compact frame. For Men, M= 5'7"-5'10"; M/L=5'10"-6'0". For Women, M=5'6"- 5'8"; L=5'7"-5'10".

I've not tried an OCR, but I ride a giant defy, 50cm M frame, and I'm 5ft5 tall  , and it's just about right, definately don't need a smaller bike, and I've tried a 54cm frame and it's still rideable, but uncomfortable.
