hi I have a 2016 defy 0and am thinking of upgrading the front mec and maybe front chain set to ultegra but just wounding what number Allegra I would need if that makes senses so it all compatible

Front mech won't make any real difference, except to your wallet, reading your other thread. The crankset will a bit. For both the part would be Ultegra 6800 or Dura Ace 9000/9001.

The biggest change would be to wheels.

Thanks for that I have changed wheels to vison team 35 comp and up graded braked to ultegra already. My old wheels I was gona use on the turbo trainer so need a cassette so may put the 105 that came with the bike on the old wheels and get an ultegra cassette for the new wheels

Braze on, check that's the right type

Better lighter tyres are a good relatively inexpensive upgrade (as long as they suit your riding needs)

Can’t see how it’s atrached. The bike spec should say if band or braze on
