Giant defy range, difference between frame on 1/2/3/4?

I'm considering getting a defy but I'd prefer just a frameset to build it myself.

Apart from paneer holes and excluding the groupset is there much if any difference between defy 0/1/2/3/4 frame?

I bought the defy 5 and was told it was the same frame as the defy 1 Will upgrade the parts when funds allow .

You get a carbon fork with the one and two and maybe three.

Defy 1 gets a beefed up bottom bracket (thats as technical as i get with bike bits)

Carbon forks are £150 on ebay , I think they retail at just under £200 . The frame is the same .

sl used to mean sport luxury on a ford granada back in the day.

Looking in the book the plus part was.........(and i kid you not) off side wing mirror and headrests!!
