Ill start by saying I’m new to fixing my bike and enjoy learning new things. I’m not trying to put my LBS out of business, they are great, but I enjoy trying to figure things out. I just got a used 2020 Giant Stance MTB that comes with the factory Giant contact dropper post. The post often compresses under load about a third of the travel. It feels like its very squishy now with the rear shock and the extra, unwanted cushion, of the dropper moving. I have searched the inter web and either cant find it or am blind as to the details of how it works. Most of the time I see if the post wont come all the way up or sticks you need a new canister. In my case it comes up fine, often however if you push on it it will drop part way. Why is this? Any help is appreciated. Txs
