I think he is having the same operation that they did on Tony Blair - radiofrequency ablation.
I thought I might end up having to have it done after suffering the same problems as Gesink during and after both of my recent clotting episodes - heart beat at rest of 150-200 bpm, and extreme shortness of breath. It is ferkin horrible and it is extremely scary so it is difficult not to panic. Of course, panic tends to make the heart beat even faster and induces more shortness of breath ...
