Turned out to be a bit awful. They got many things wrong. The climb was reported to be 4,125 ft over 75 miles but we'd done over 4,200ft by mile 25! We ended up doing 6,349 of climb in total. The arrows were so pale in colour, you had to be right on top of them to know which way to actually turn. There was no timing other than what you recorded yourself as doing. No marshalls after first mile leading to one memorably awful section out and back of about 5 miles total as there was no sign to indicate we needed to turn right where we actually needed to turn right. By the time a big group (about 40) realised, we'd done further than required. No showers at the finish despite riding several miles on quiet roads covered in a surface slick of wet cowsh it. Nice. And the 'goodie bag' at the finish was worthless. The scenery in some parts was nice but there were far too many road crossings which interrupted our 'flow' and added more confusion as to which direction to actually take. I'd give it 5/10.
