Gears Slip - But only at one end.

Recently changed the tyres on my mountain bike and I've had nothing but trouble since. Solved most problems apart from a slightly bent back wheel BUT the main one has been the gears.

ONLY the easiest 3 gears slip slip to the next hardest gear. They only do it sometimes and it's getting pretty annoying, there doesn't seem to be any reason for it to start happening.

Any ideas what's happening and what I could possibly do to solve it.

I'm guessing that the you're rear gear cable is too lose causing the chain to jump from one easier sprocket to the next (harder one). The Bicycle Tutor site covers the issue well (its step 7 in his video "Cable Tension Adjustment").
