Gear question

I have a Rohloff in a 700c wheel. If I put the Rohloff keeping the same chain ring and back sprocket in a 26in wheel would it change the gear ratios. Keep the answers simple as I don't really understand gearing. If pedaling in gear 7 would the 26 in wheel easier or harder to pedal than the 700c wheel.

Running a 50 chainring onto 17 sprocket with 700c will give you a top gear of 116.5 gear inches. Running the same with say 26x1.5 tyres will give 107.3 gear inches. (According to Sheldon's gear calculator).
ie you'll find it easier to pedal - as The Doc says.
