Joined as I had a few questions about the SJS panniers - which I've asked in the appropriate thread.
Many years ago, back when I was 15, I, and a few friends, took a month to cycle LEJOG - youth hosteling the whole way, amazing experience - but then I grew up and stopped cycling. Anyhoo - skip ahead a few decades and I started to run (am targeting ultras) and am looking to cycling to support that aim.
I tend to do 40 to 50km rides but I've recently invested in some racks and am now researching pannier options as I'd like to spend a weekend or two cycling touring around the region (maybe do Vienna to Budapest),
