I've a Vivosmart, it's pretty decent. Only thing that would make it better is GPS or at least the ability to connect to iPhone to use it's GPS.

Absolutely love it. Superb for running using GPS. Pretty accurate for swimming laps.
I can't say what it's like for cycling as I use an Edge 810.
The battery does drain fast if you're using GPS, but that's to be expected.

I'm looking at something that can track my activities, and the added functions of it being a watch, having some GPS function and "smartwatch-lite" options sounds appealing. I'd be interested to hear from someone who has used one for a while. £139 at Wiggle at the moment.
Fun runners GPS of choice, it seems, down at Horsham Joggers. Wiggle have me tempted too.

I've just replaced my VivoSmart with an Apple Watch. Unfortunately the screen on my first ViviSmart failed so Amazon refunded me. The screen on the second one has just failed so Garmin is sending me a new one, which I don't need, so if anyone wants a bargain then PM me
Quandry time. Garmin Fenix 2 on lightning deals for £160 yesterday. Quite different watches, but the Fenix does loads more.

I'll have a look at both when they come and decide which to keep.
You bought both? Gawd bless the Amazon return policy

I recently bought the Aldi GPS watch, first overlooking it at £55 because I thought the 16 hour tracking battery life was from a dispsable battery.

It turns out that only the BT HRM uses a dispisable battery! It has very minor flaws, and is now a cutdown version of last years Runtastic clone. (no route navigation).
I'm impressed !
