Been looking for a reliable mount for the said GPS..
there seems to be varied reviews on these all over the web...
I use the Edge 200 but I want the 30 mounted for my geocaching exploits

Any one with an ideal solution?
Appreciate any input..

I just let it dangle from the handlebars on a cord but not ideal.

I've had no problem with the genuine Garmin mount on either of my bikes. I did try to save a few quid initially and buy a cheap copy but that jettisoned the Garmin should I come within 30ft of a pot hole but I've had no such problem since switching to the genuine article.

CRC seems to be the cheapest at the mo for genuine ones - http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/...gclid=CM7Fm__Jir8CFSfLtAodnFEA1A&gclsrc=aw.ds
(Oregon and Dakota use the same mount as the eTrex 10/20/30)

Excellent advice, folks.
I have also been pointed to the Ram mounts but jeez! all the options make my head spin..
I have a GizzMoVest for it and I see now they do a version to fit Ram mounts but I dinna want to be paying for another vest(I got hit for almost £13 extra through Royal Mail and import duty)

On my el cheapo dakota mount, I bodged about four layers of insulating tape inside the mount to hold the unit a bit more firmly. Has worked well so far.

Even with the branded mount, you might want to have a lanyard on it to attach to the bars or stem, as I have had them chuck my garmin a couple of times.

Thanks for the input..
I've had a reply from the GizmoMoVest team so I'll find out soon if they can help..

On an aside...
GizzoMoVest's are amazing cases for your GPS (just google)
