Garmin Edge 305 questions

Hi all,

I've just bought one (well happy with it so far) and I understand that these may have been asked before (I've tried the "Search" facility and can't find the answers)

1. On average, how long should I expect the battery to last (and can i replace the battery when it gets old)?

2. What is the maximum duration it will record data as a single file/ride for?

3. If the battery dies does it store recorded data anyway or is it then lost?

1. no idea, but i've had mine a year and its still working lovely
2. I think mine had been alive for about 6 hours and still some time to go
3. It keeps all the rides on it, until you delete them. If it loses power mid ride, it will stop at that point.
