Garmin Edge 25

Has anyone got one? And use it as their primary form of monitoring their rides?

I'm in the process of returning the awful Polar M450 and am looking to find a Garmin alternative. My biggest worry is the size. It looks like it's too small to actually use whilst riding. More of a sensor that records the ride to analyse later, than to monitor as you ride.

I understand the 500 does the same job but the lack of Bluetooth syncing is a deal breaker. Just not sure I want to spend a further £100 on a 520.

It doesn't sync with a power meter and the battery doesn't last as long (still 8h IIRC). The 500 doesn't do blue tooth, you're maybe getting confused with the 510. On the whole though I think the 25 is god VFM.

No, that's exactly why I didn't want the 500.

Can get the 520 for £200 including HRM and speed+cadence sensors.

If battery/maps/blue tooth/power are wanted. I don't use the latter two but the battery/maps convinced me to go for the 1000 on hindsight I probably should've went for the 520 (touch screen on the 1000 is too sensitive and the 520 does the same bar the screen)

I tried a discount code, but Cotswold only let you apply the discount to full price, as opposed to any discounted items
