Garmin Edge 1000 / Strava Issue

Do any other Garmin Edge 1000 users have a similar issue to I am having now and if so anyh advice is greatly apprecaited!

My elevation at home is approx 140ft and my Edge 1000 defaults to this setting when I commence a ride as it is marked.

However recently this has been showing on Strava and Garmin Connect mobile app (but not on Garmin Connect website) incorrectly at around 450ft.

This seems to only happen since I performed a hard reset of the device due to it crashing.

Has anyone else noticed this or managed to resolve the same problem?

You sure your elevation at home is not 140 meters rather than 140 feet? As 140 meters is around 450 feet, therefore they are reading the same elevation just in different units.

It was a highly technical fault - @Lpoolck you are quite right!

Luckily (for my pride) I worked this out on a ride last night!
