Garmin dilemma: 2nd hand or not?

Found an Edge 800 on Gumtree for £100, bloke offering return if not as advertised. Seen them go for £120 plus on ebay so seems like a real bargain (too much of a bargain?). So im tempted by this. Or Edge 810 on Wiggle for £190 with 12 month warranty? What would you guys go for?

£20 less isn't really a bargain considering no fees on gumtree compared to eBay?

Doesn't the 810 use Bluetooth so you can upload without a PC. Depends if that and the warranty/peace of mind are worth £90 to you

If you do buy anything from gumtree make sure you buy it in person dont send anyone any money to anyone or it may well be the last you ever see of it, I bought a Moto 360 that looked like a 'bargain' off gumtree and that was the last I ever saw of my money. If buying in person do it somewhere public or take someone else with you, gumtree can be an extremely risky place to do business particularly when it comes to buying gadgets.
