I found a function on Garmin Connect that I have not used before but cannot find it now.

I could put a point on the map where I wanted the route to start and then select a distance I wanted to ride and Garmin Connect would work out a route of that distance for me.

Can someone tell me how I do this again please.

That takes me directly to Garmin Connect Bobby.

At the minute I go into
Garmin Connect
Plan
Courses
Plan a route

But then I cannot find what I am looking for.

Once you are in the "Create a New Course" mode, you should be able to just click on the map, and again to place the two markers.

On the right you should also have a panel showing a number of different options, such as giving you the option to change the average speed, it will then display the time required for you to complete the course, expected calories burnt etc.

I think you may be correct.

I have possibly seen it it Mapmyride, Biketoaster or one of the other route planners.

I'm sure I will fid it.

Wasn't that one of the features of the Edge Touring models?

With RoundTrip routing, you can tell Edge Touring how far you’d like to ride and then choose from up to 3 ride options that will bring you back to where you started. The device makes it easy to plan rest stops, find attractions along the way and more.

I have seen it this week and planned a couple of routes try try it out. But like everything else when you put it down, it's gone. But I am sure I will find it.

How do you get that ticker to appear below your post?
