Garmin Connect Sync Issue?

Anybody else finding Garmin Express not syncing today? Mine has last sync'd 8th January, which was the last time I plugged it in. It's just sat spinning, and not syncing, but I added it manually fine?

Garmin Connect status page says everything is fine, and I haven't changed anything...

Nope. Ride uploaded via wifi and on Strava within mins

I had trouble yesterday it took a couple of tries before it synced. Also there is trouble with garmin connect maybe that's the reason.

Had no trouble with uploading rides today.

No problem today even though I have a message saying that Garmin are having a few issues.

They are having issues (paraphrasing their reply to my email re all the problems Connect is having) due to the number of units (running/cycling) that were purchased at Xmas time and the subsequent numbers of new users setting up their GC accounts.

Although Xmas is a long way back now!

It sync'd later in the night.

Funny RE number of units. Surely Garmin Connect is fundamental to these unit's purpose, and although you could say use Strava, Garmin would want you using their software. So surely, their online services ought to be able to support all units produced!
