Garmin 800

After just one day my Garmin 800 has stopped reading the city navigator maps and just returns to the basemaps, which are useless. Will return to Wiggle for replacement but just wondered if anyone else had had this problem ?

Have you got the Navigator maps enabled and also disabled the base maps?

Before you return. Give Garmin a call. Their customer service is second to none.

Thanks for the replies, spoke to Garmin, very helpful, and they've accepted that either the SD card is faulty or the unit isn't reading the card, so all packed up ready to go back to Mr Wiggle. Hopefully get a replacement soon, as I still think it's a great bit of kit once you get your head round it. Instructions are far too basic but that's another thread.

I've had my Garmin 800 a few weeks now.

I found this quite useful although been using a garmin Edge 305 for years so had a head start with Garmin stuff. Linky
