Should come up automatically. If not, press mode 3 times, scroll down to settings, press enter and alter the number of data fields ascribing one to HR. I don't have a 705 but do have a 305 and that's what you do on there anyway so it'll probably be the same or similar.

Make sure you're using the strap that came with the Edge 705.

Press menu, press settings, scroll down to ANT+Sport and select Accessories. Heart monitor present, select yes.
