Just completed a very windy 20 mile run on my road bike. Stopped into my mums on way home for Mother's Day, during which time the garmin shut off. Turned it back on and cycled home ... Only to find that it had only counted the 1.67 mile trip from my mums. The gruelling run I had done was not listed. Can anyone give me any advice ??? Gutted

I assume it keeps a tracklog, like my old Garmin Etrex? I switched my GPS off for our cafe stop yesterday, then restarted it. It recorded both legs of the ride.

Having said ... Do the exact details of your ride matter that much? You know the distance, and you must have an idea of how long it took you so you could easily calculate your average speed.

It's more to track progress which I link into Strava, I'm newish to cycling and it's an incentive to see progress ... I saved the run on endomundo which is an android app, if I could link it to Strava that would help

I haven't used Strava, but there must be some way to do what you want to do.

I tend to go more on how I feel than the actual numbers. I log details of where I ride, how long the route was, the weather conditions, and how I felt. I can look back at rides that used to feel hard, but began to feel a lot easier as I got fitter.

Anyway, keep riding and have fun!

I had the same on a club run, it recored the distance but only had the data for the first half to the cake stop where it lost signal and i never worked out why.

Even if I knew how to export it from endomundo, I could put it onto strava, but don't have a clue

There should be a way to export from EndoMondo on a PC. Would either be in GPX or TCX.

Then you can just do a manual upload on Stravas website and hey presto.

Check the Garmin tho as it may have saved the ride within the device somewhere

You can definitely export .Gpx from endomondo then just import it as a new activity to strava, or Garmin etc or vise versa.
