Garmin 500 2 bikes

Will it detect 2 different cadence sensors or do I need to make 2 profile's?. installed a new sensor and had to redetect it on bike 1

I’ve got an edge 800, I’ve created a separate profile for the 3 bikes that I use it on each with its own cadence and speed sensor, it’s really easy to switch between the bike profiles and takes 2 secs.

Separate profile for each, the 500 is the same as the 800.

the hard part is remembering to switch the profile BEFORE you have covered 10 miles on the other bike
