Garmin 200 Buttons

The buttons on my garmin edge 200 often don't work straight away. Sometimes they work again after a short delay and sometimes after a long delay. I wondered whether this was a fault or whether the software was just catching up with previous button presses,

Possibly a fault. The top right button on mine doesn't always work. Usually have to push it in with some force to get it to register.

Thanks. Another thing...can you ride a course backwards? I know you have a function to go back to the start at the end of a ride but can you upload a circular course and then just go the opposite way round?
