Furniture from recycled bikes?

Does anyone have any pictures of or links to furniture from recycled bikes or parts?

We're looking to make some to use up the stuff we can't currently use.

Did you ever see the little table Tom got given when he left COC? Three forks for the legs and a variety of chainwheels for the top and a shelf. I'm not sure if I've got a pic, I'll have a look.

Yes, I do know somewhere that does, or used to do what you are suggesting. They made tables etc, in various sizes, plant holders, for outside.

One of the plant holders was in the shape of a penny farthing:smile:.

I have sent you a pm with their details. Hope this helps.

I tried to find pictures of their items on their website, but was not successful. They are not doing it to make a profit, but to reduce waste and for people to learn welding skills. I think they would be pleased to help.

Yep, remember that and we have laods of old forks to use up:smile:

We actually have a furniture designer/artist volunteering for us at the moment and she was just interested in what else was out there.

Soo, Christmas orders?
