Full size bike bags without removing wheels?

Can you get a full size bike bag? All the ones I have seen require you to remove the wheels.

I commute and all I need it for is to walk it through recpetion and into the basement. (The managers dont like us wheeling bikes through the office reception and need us to bag the bike up.)

Taking the wheels off every time for this 30 second procedure just seems like too much effort.

as far as I know they don't exist BUT some bike shops (wiggle, evans etc.) ship bikes in full isze boxes with the wheels attached (but you'd need to twist the bars)

sounds like your employer is a bit of a noob! Could you not carry the bike to keep the tyres off the carpet?

so no bikes but huge boxes/bags are OK? I'd hand my notice in!

is there another way into the basement or can you just cover the bike with a blanket ?

We have been told that it's unprofessional for clients to see staff push a bike through reception. We can't carry them either for fear that oil may damage the carpet tiles!!!

The bike bag option is the only compromise available.

I could try and knock one up with an old duvet cover! (actually I'll probably ask my Mum, my wife is as poor with a sewing machine as I am) That will look far more professional as i drag that through reception

unprofessional!!! Are you expected to arrive via the helipad? I bet ugly people are not employed either! Get fat and you're fired!
