Full length mudguards for 23mm tyres?

Need a set of 'guards that are about 30mm wide, sks are 35mm and just too wide without extensive botching, and I always find when trying to manipulate "unbreakable" plastic, it breaks. Not interested in the new crud roadracer ones, smart as they are as they are not full length at the rear.
These are for Mrs fixed and I had better find a solution soon or I am toast.

Googled them extensively and seems that they are not made anymore......but found the Giant Defy ones that are 30mm wide but can't work out if they will fit any bike other than the Giant which they are made for. [very clever looking cutout under the brakes]. Anyone got some?

I've found using a (fine) file the best way of 'manipulating' the SKS guards. Fitted fine with no problems of breaking. I remember seeing something called the "KF Narrow Mudguard" IIRC, but not sure if this was 35mm too?

Yeah, seen those too, can't find any sizes though despite contacting my LBS who do them online but couldn't tell me the width of them!
Someone here has to have some knowledge of the Giant Defy ones....don't they?

Ian, tried the site, they look good......but look at the price! Blimey now I know what is meant when they say less is more.

About halfway down on the right is the Garde Boue Eco, which I think is the original version without the fancy bridge over the rear brake. 34 euros. But yeah, they're not cheap.

There's a big thread on Bike Radar about the crud racers, and they don't fit every road bike without some bodging, however their customer service sounds good.
All I wanted was some 30mm mudguards, this has to be a problem for all those with tightish dual pivot brakes, not in height clearance, it's the width. As I said, Mrs TF is not going to be impressed.
